About This Tool

The PDF page extraction tool selects only the pages you need from a PDF and saves them as a new PDF. You can extract individual pages, continuous ranges, or pages based on the first or last page, and you can also combine multiple ranges using commas. It's useful when you need to share or archive only the relevant portions of reports, contracts, textbooks, or scanned documents.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enter page numbers?

To extract a single page, enter 3. For a range of consecutive pages, use 1-3. 4- means from page 4 to the last page, and -3 means from the first page to page 3.

Can I specify multiple page ranges together?

Yes. Separate each page and range with a comma. For example, entering 1, 3-5, 8- extracts page 1, pages 3 through 5, and page 8 to the last page.

Can I check my page selection before extracting?

Yes. Before extraction, the expected page numbers and total page count are displayed so you can verify your input.

What happens if I leave it blank?

If left blank, all pages will be extracted. The result will include every page of the original PDF as-is.

Can I use password-protected PDFs?

No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Please remove the password from the PDF before using it.

Is my selected PDF sent to a server?

No. All processing happens inside your browser, and your selected PDF is never sent to any server.
